Photo of a wooden hut with open floor plan and natural light. Two double bedrooms to sleep a lot more space for children can well afford a family holiday strip, and a large kitchen and dining table money to be saved by preparing meals at home instead of going out every few hours. Not that you want to make Branson a lot of restaurants all in a bit ', but once the options are always better than no choiceall.

To miss the visit of your humble abode, not the washing machine and dryer, the video store, the selection of board games, or access the Internet. This is not your average square-room-with-no-moving-in situation facing each other, or as much space available to pack and keep them out of sight for the duration of your holiday. Do not be wrinkled clothes for special treatment, not that anyone really cares about things like that when your days are filled with lazyaround the lake.

Outside, your patio (with gas grill, of course) will invite lots of conversation and sky-watching, and just beyond that you'll have a path that takes you straight to the lovely lake. Early morning swims will start your days on the right note, and being able to run back and forth from the water to the house will turn out to be a valuable asset. Keep your car parked in the garage and your mind off the price of gas for once as you swim and float your way to an altered state of mind.

Depending on the time of your visit, you'll be privy to a variety of sights and sounds around the lake area. Summer is green and warm, making a dip in the water or a spin on the pontoon the perfect accompaniment to your glass of lemonade and the feeling of warmth on your bare skin. In the fall, watch the foliage change before your eyes from your picture window, and if it gets chilly at night be sure to build a fire in the fireplace and snuggle up to your beloved. Winter will make for the ultimate peaceful retreat, as you'll feel far, far away from everything, and spring will ignite your senses as the Ozark wilds come back to life.

For a little exercise, hiking, golfing, and bird watching will let you stretch your legs and enjoy the scenery at the same time. Pets are allowed at many vacation rentals, so if you have a well-behaved pooch that enjoys nature as much as the rest of the family there's a good chance you can bring her along. Be sure to check it out first, but don't be surprised if you end up staying in an open, friendly place that will allow and encourage fun for everyone.

So in your privileged location you'll be able to head to the city when the mood strikes or stick close to the lake if your laid-back side gets the best of you. Your vacation rental will support whatever decision you make, and your traveling companions will certainly thank you for keeping every one's comfort level in mind for your Branson vacation. Go online to pick out a place from among the many Branson Vacation Rentals that exist in this hotspot, and enjoy your first foray into the upper echelon of vacationing.

How To Define Entrepreneurial Spirit

The entrepreneurial spirit is often difficult to define let alone examine in detail because of its perception as a highly creative and dynamic entity and it is with this caveat that this article is written.

Whilst the entrepreneurial spirit can be applied to a wide range of disciplines and professionals it is perhaps most closely associated with the world of business and incorrectly used to describe many successful business people, when in fact very few individuals can truly demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit.

Historical Context of the meaning of entrepreneur

The word itself is French in origin and if interpreted in its literal context means "between jobs". It is interesting that a word that has come to project the very pinnacle of success should have such mundane roots as a means of describing being unemployed.

This article examines a number of concepts that appear intrinsic to what constitutes entrepreneurial spirit

1. Uniqueness

In a highly developed global business community where new ideas and business models are increasingly in short supply the importance of uniqueness cannot be under estimated and those exhibiting an entrepreneurial spirit are often associated with concepts that encapsulate originality and ingenuity. Take for example, Steve Jobs bringing the Apple IPOD to the market,

2. Creativity

Creativity is heavily connected to uniqueness but the two are not identical. Individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit are experienced at harnessing the creative process to help them produce a unique product /service or advantage. So where as uniqueness describes the end outcome, creativity describes the process of how one achieves it. For this reason those with an entrepreneurial spirit are often creative individuals who are ready, willing and able to actively adopt new techniques to get ahead even at the expense of being ridiculed by others.

3. Risk Taking

In a western society that is so often risk averse, those with entrepreneurial spirit embrace risk taking and it is impossible for such a concept not to be associated with entrepreneurs and the often high risk potential involved in following a new cutting edge approach. It must be observed however that risk is not the same as recklessness and those demonstrating an entrepreneurial spirit are likely to be adept at assessing the risks involved in any undertaking.

4. Business Savy

As highlighted previously those with entrepreneurial spirit should not be considered as reckless mavericks indeed quite the opposite, good entrepreneurs are motivated by profit and are skilled at identifying a lucrative niche in the market that can be exploited for profit. Take for example, Steve Jobs at Apple Computers who has successfully navigated a profitable course in the computing and software industry despite the market being dominated by Microsoft and IBM for a number of decades. In addition he was the first to spot the potential of utilising the computing industry to open a new market to the music fraternity , with the introduction of the IPOD, the market leader in its business stream. Such actions requires great skill and confidence and demonstrate a clear entrepreneurial spirit.

5. Developing Potential

Identifying, Investing in and nurturing potential are also essential to the ideals attached associated with entrepreneurial spirit because of the need to find differing solutions to a business problem.

Established businesses often fail to discover breakthroughs because they stick to a rigid investment formula that has worked for them in the past rather than finding new ways of moving forward.

6. Adaptability

The entrepreneurial spirit is always adaptable and ready to overcome barriers presented by business problems and is usually quicker at resolving those issues than mainstream business thinkers.

7. Ultimately Destructive

Entrepreneurial spirit is ultimately destructive to its own business in the medium term unless those engaged in utilizing the concept recognize when it is time to handover to mainstream management focussed individuals who can maintain and develop the organisation. This is because true entrepreneurial spirit is obsessed with constant creativity and change which is unsettling to employees without good management and a clear direction. Many of those demonstrating entrepreneurial spirit rarely stay long term in any enterprise they undertake, take Richard Branson for example who after launching numerous businesses under the "Virgin" brand has subsequently sold on many of these to third parties at a huge profit to himself.

Summary

In conclusion whilst there are certainly key characteristics which encapsulate the entrepreneurial spirit it would be foolish to pretend that any one individual has all those traits and even more foolish to believe that such a concept can be comprehensively defined. It is also short sighted to believe that those with entrepreneurial spirit are only evident in the business community, indeed many different disciplines and vocations have historical and existing individuals contained within them that could be essentially described as entrepreneurs.

Well Known individuals exhibiting the entrepreneurial spirit : Richard Branson, Clive Sinclair, Freddy Laker, Steve Jobs, Bill Gates and Anita Roddick.

Words often used to describe individuals with entrepreneurial spirit : Mavericks, Tycoons, pathological liars, risk takers, self made business people, successful, charismatic.

Hire in Haste, Repent at Leisure - Recruit For Serious Business Growth

Would you call Richard Branson a manager or a leader? Bill Gates? Richard Branson? Herb Kelleher? Great companies are led, not managed and that's the truth behind my final Fundamental Rule for Serious Business Growth. Leadership is the ability to inspire others to be as good as they can be. So if you're going to lead your people and your business towards serious growth, one thing you should never rush is hiring.
You're only as good as the people you hire.

If your brand is your biggest financial asset, your people are your most important business asset. It just makes good business sense first, to find the right ones and second, to take great care of them. I truly believe from many years of employing hundreds of people that you can get the very best out of them if you give them the opportunity to be all that they can be. If you do this, they in turn will help your business be the very best it can be. Look after your people and you're more likely to achieve Serious Business Growth.
No one ever arrives alone

I learned this lesson when I was very young and working for the Hilton Hotel Corporation in London. One day I was walking through the lobby of the Hotel and the Front Desk manager called out "Sims, come here". This was his style. Well his style didn't fit with how I wanted to be treated and I told him so: "You can call me Jack, Mr., Sims or Jackson, (which some people have called me) but never ever call me 'Sims' again or I will use your surname too." He couldn't believe I'd said it, but the fact is he never did it again. That's when I started to learn how to look after employees: give them the respect you expect to be treated with yourself.

Hire someone for life or not at all

There is another side to my People rule, and this is based on a lifetime of experience in hiring and firing. The thing is that when you hire someone, you should be hiring him or her for life not for the short haul. And guess what, there are some people in your company right now who just shouldn't be there. You may not know who they are, but I can assure you that the rest of your employees know who they are. Yep, you may have to fire some staff.

Employees come in three flavors

Employees are divided into three very distinct groups. The first two are growing your business. The third group is leeching the life out of it.

1. Your core management team. Let's say they represent around 10% of your total staff.
2. Your workers. These are the majority of your people, representing about 75-80% of the employees and they are engaged with the business, doing a great job, day in day out.
3. Your nomads. Most companies have some of these. These are the people that turn up because they get a paycheck and the chances are that they already are listed on Monster.com. They wander from company to company, from job to job, not engaging with any of them.

The best thing that you can do for your company and for the majority of your employees is to get rid of the nomads. Even better, don't let them in, in the first place. And you know what your employees will say when you fire a nomad? "What took you so long?!"

Hiring is a process not an event

Without a doubt, the very best thing you can do to lead your business is spend more time on hiring. Hiring is something that you have to be working on all the time if you want to see some serious business growth. Part of the hiring process is that you should have candidates interviewed by at least three different people to establish whether the candidate will fit into your culture. Your culture is an incredibly important part of your branding and can seriously make or break your success.

Want To Know A Billionaire's Formula

This is so simple you will pinch yourself if you had not thought of this before. Yet for many people this is hidden by virtue of the fact that it is so simple. Ever wonder why a person needs a MBA to be a successful businessman. Have a look at Fred Smith. His business was saved by a visit to the roulette tables. The Englishman Richard Branson takes all sorts of risks (on balloons, of all things). And, few people seem to know this, but, in his youth, Rupert Murdoch was a successful punter betting on racehorses.

This business formula I am going to reveal to you is likely to be practiced by most, if not all, successful entrepreneurs. This formula is simple: gather, sell and add some more.

1) Gather means you have to be like a bird building a nest or a squirrel preparing for winter or ants bringing everything you can find back into the storehouse or your operations room. You need to gather everything you can about your prospects. Whatever detail you can gather could be critical data for you making decisions down the road.

2) Sell does not just mean put up a sign and say you are selling your services; neither does it mean put an advertisement in the paper, a magazine, on the radio, on T.V. or in the air. Sell means do all those things if you think it is worthwhile doing. More to the point, sell means flog everything as if possessed until you are flogging a dead horse. Never let up and never let go, until you get a definite and resounding, "No!"

3) Add some more, means, once you have made one sale, go and sell some more product or services to the same person. Once you have established a customer, why only sell him one thing. Get your customer to like you and become your regular customer. Keep adding on more merchandise to sell to your repeat customers, and when doing so, up-size. Turn your $1.00 sale into $100 sale and your $100 sale into a $1,000 sale.

There are other methods of doing business, but do you think that Fedex grew only delivering a few small parcels, or Virgin grew by being a one service company only, or News Ltd grew to the largest global media organization by remaining a one town newspaper. You will find that Smith, Branson and Murdoch are all gathers of information, are master salesmen and are big on the up-size.

What this means for you is that the more information you gather about people the more opportunity you will have of being able to meet their needs. The more often you continue to make those people aware of who you are and what you have to offer them the more likely they will buy from you or do business with you. Because they have bought from you once, the more likely they will buy from you a second time, and the more likely they are to spend more with you.

This formula is guaranteed to work. It always does. This formula never fails.

Finding a Therapist - What to Look For

If you have been feeling uneasy about your life, your confidence, your relationships or your work, this article may help you.

If this is the case, don't worry, because there are lots of professional therapists who have been trained to help you. One of the most accessible and often effective options is to seek out a good therapist who has the ability to assist you.

Trained therapists are skilled in being able to guide their clients through a broad range of common problems such as relationship, stress, family, work, confidence, phobias and anxiety issues. Hence, your therapist is a person you can talk to who is qualified to really help, no matter what you are going through.

When you are asking friends and neighbours for recommendations, it is important to bear in mind that they might have different ideas as to what makes a good therapist than you do.

A therapist who has successfully helped your neighbour on battling financial stress and business coaching may not give you the same results when you consult them on your failed relationship life.

When choosing a therapist, it's important to bear certain qualities and factors in mind before you make your final decision.

Age and Experience of Therapist

While age is something that can be considered subjective, studies have shown that both younger and older people feel more at ease in the presence of an older therapist or counsellor. Aside from the obvious depth in experience which makes it easier for an older person to relate to your problems, a mature presence can be more reassuring.

Young people in particular may subconsciously see the older therapist as a parent figure that they can trust and communicate more freely to, and this can aid the sessions.

It goes without saying that an older therapist has more life experience than a younger therapist, and this generally also means they will have more years of experience as a therapist.

On the other hand, a younger therapist might come across as inexperienced, which could affect your confidence in them.

Qualifications & CV

Naturally, you'll want someone who is highly qualified and respected by his field to be your therapist. This is paramount considering you have not yet met your therapist.

Qualifications should not be thought of just as a piece of paper, but as something that signifies high quality expertise and rigorous training. These are all things that can instil confidence in you in regard to your therapist's ability.

Atmosphere

Often overlooked when searching for a good therapist, the atmosphere of the therapist's room is critical to establishing his presence and your feeling of relaxation during conversation.

If you find your immediate surrounding intimidating, you will naturally not be able to sink into deeper conversation. As a result, the trip is more likely to be a wasted one.

The problem is that often you won't be able to get a sense of your therapist's environment until you arrive at your first session.

Therapists who feature videos on their webpages can often give you a much better idea of the atmosphere you can expect during your session, as well as allowing you to feel comfortable with your therapist before you have even met them.

Other things that may affect your personal choice of therapist might be gender, personality, religion, values, and background. These are usually a lot more subjective, so it depends on you.

If you are unsure, it is generally safe to look for someone who is highly qualified and has immense experience under his belt.

This will give you more confidence to walk into your first therapy session, which can be a fantastic start to the process.

Motor Home in the Ozarks

If you head south through Missouri, you'll come to a spot where the wide, flat farmlands break into the misty green rolling hills of the Ozark Mountains. The Ozarks are not actually mountains, but a huge plateau that extends from southern Missouri into northern Arkansas, and parts of eastern Oklahoma and Kansas. Aside from its natural beauty, the Ozarks region offers lots of fun for everybody, including great motor home enthusiasts.

Lake of the Ozarks is the number one destination in the Ozark Mountains. This is because there's so much do to: golfing, boating, hiking, water sports, fishing... the list goes on. There are places for shopping or dining in town, as well as state parks along the edge of the lake where you can get away from everything.

This is a great family-oriented vacation spot where you can have the best of everything. You can get a camping spot on the edge of a hill surrounded by trees, and it's just a short drive to miniature golf, go-cart riding and water slides. There are lots of great water parks in the area, which are always a big hit with the kids.

There are several very popular motor home sites near the lake.

- Lazy River RV Resort in Eldon, Missouri. This campground is located on the Osage River, just a few minutes drive from the lake front. They have hiking, water sports and golf just minutes from your camp site.

- Cross Creek RV Park. This is a big campground geared toward family fun, with lots of activities and amenities. They have more than 70 sites with full hook-ups, but it's still a good idea to call ahead; it fills up in the summer months.

Branson - The New Home Of Country Music

For all you country fans out there, Branson is the new Mecca. But, not only does Branson have lots of shows, it has other great things to offer, like good food, museums, theme parks, and nightlife. Branson prides itself on having food from all over the world in its buffets, and lots to do once the sun goes down.

Of course, for lots of us, we'd rather cast a line into the lake and wait for a bite. Branson has great fishing too, some of the best in the United States. There are three good-sized lakes around the Branson area that have boat rentals, great fishing and water skiing.

For RV campers, there are lots of great places to stay around Branson. A few of the most popular include Branson Shenanigans RV Park, Branson View Campground and ABC Campground. Be sure to call ahead for reservations.

Get into the Wilderness - The Boston Mountains

If you want to get away from things, Arkansas's Boston Mountains are spectacular. These lush, green mountains are a wonderful place to see in your motor home adventures, with lots of places to stop and hike, fish or take in the view. There is a Boston Mountains Scenic Loop that winds its way all through the beautiful mountain landscape, where you'll see bare cliff-sides, trickling mountain streams, and bridges that soar above the mountain landscape.

The Overland RV Park offers some of the best motor home accommodations in the Boston Mountains, and there are lots of sights to see not far away, like Lake Fort Smith State Park and Lake Lou Emma Dam.

The Ozarks are a great place to experience real mountain culture, see pretty scenery and take the family out on some unforgettable adventures.

Wouldn't you just love to know how the likes of Richard Branson or Dragon's Den entrepreneur Peter Jones accumulated their wealth? To truly discover the attributes and qualities that separates the rich, successful people from those who struggle against life?

Well, all successful people have one thing in common- the power of their mental focus. These people are experts in mirroring their inner world with what they desire in their outer world. It is living the principles of Whole Science to its fullest- noticing and appreciating that our inner, mental world is not distinguishable from the outer, material world.

It truly seems a miracle how many entrepreneurs go from nothing to great riches, doesn't it? So what is it about their mental state that is so important? And how can you replicate this mind-set to succeed in your life? Just think-what would happen if you won the lottery tomorrow, if you became a millionaire overnight? I'm sure you're already thinking of the house(s) you would have, the places you'd visit, the clothes you'd wear... and soon enough you're becoming excited at the prospect of having wealth beyond your wildest dreams.

What would happen if I told you that part of what you were doing just then is the secret to many entrepreneurs' success? No, not dreaming of winning the lottery, but thinking of all those things you do want. I bet if I told you to think of a car you'd like to buy, you have a mental image- right? Maybe even hearing the sound of the powerful engine or the good feeling you'd have driving it around.

Entrepreneurs have these kinds of images running through their heads pretty much all the time, which enables them to consistently gain the specific results they want.

'The power of positive thinking' has now become a marketable commodity. From empowerment gurus such as Anthony Robbins to groundbreaking movies such as 'The Secret', we are consistently told that the way to achieve our desires is to focus on what we want- not what we don't want.

Anthony Robbins likens it as to a speed rally driver racing round a track- if we focus on the wall, that's what we're going to crash into! To achieve the outcomes, goals and dreams you truly want in life, focusing on the end point- where you want to go, is the main key to success.

So what if there were solid, reliable scientific evidence for the power of mental focus? I'm guessing we would all begin to hold images in our minds of cheques instead of bills arriving through the post! But firstly, why is it important to focus on where you want to go, instead of those things you want to avoid? Well, by making pictures or images in your mind, you are giving instructions to your unconscious mind.

Believe it or not, your unconscious mind doesn't know the difference between a real image and an imagined one, which is why dreams can often seem so terribly lifelike and can sometimes frighten us- as if they were actually happening. An important thing to remember is that the unconscious mind does not process negatives. It actually deletes them. The reason being is that you will, consciously or unconsciously, create an internal picture or representation of that which you were trying to avoid. Have you ever thought 'I mustn't spill this' or 'I better not knock that over' . Your unconscious mind will create a picture of that which you wish to avoid- so a spilt glass of wine or broken crockery can often result.

But what about those negative things we hold in our mind on a consistent basis? Things like 'I'm poor' or ' I'm no good at anything'. What kind of images do these create?

'So what?' You may be thinking. 'It doesn't actually matter what thoughts I have, positive or negative, these thoughts are mine and thinking positively won't change a thing'. This would be indeed true under the interpretation of our current scientific model. However, the power of our mind is much more influential than we first thought.

To put it briefly, advances in physics have discovered that when you delve through the levels of our being, our molecules and our atoms, all that is left is energy- interconnected energy fields. They discovered that particles also act like waves, and can change depending on our observation.

What do I mean? Well, everything exists as possibility, or a waveform. When quantum physicists discovered that the act of observation causes possibility to collapse, it meant that our minds have the potential to create reality.

Simply put, our minds are like a laser beam which when focused, have the potential to change the 'energy' around us. Since the new paradigm of science has revealed that mind and matter are part of the same force, the same 'energy', it means that having a consistent focus is akin to being a magnet, pulling those things toward you which you hold in your mind.

Our thoughts create our reality? Having focused thoughts of wealth can bring us riches? Surely, its not that easy? I hear you say. And you'd be right. Just think, if our minds are lasers we need to have enough power within us to drive that laser towards what we want. Many successful people have noted that a burning desire and passion towards what they wanted to achieve helped them towards financial freedom.

As Napolean Hill, author of the acclaimed 'Think and Grow Rich' states 'weak desires bring weak results'. So if you were setting up a business say, but were not truly focused, passionate or determined about that business it is less likely to succeed.

To create enough 'mental energy' that is needed to achieve your goal there has to be so much desire for what you want that it will drive you into taking action. For example, entrepreneurs such as Donald Trump, Duncan Bannatyne and Richard Branson all mention that their goals sometimes became a bit of an obsession- something that they would pursue at all costs.

So as you think of that house or car you want, stop, and just ask yourself- how much do I really want this? You'll know how much if you get an excited feeling- the feeling of 'I've got to have this!' Ask yourself- what will it be like if you get what you want? Imagine living in the house, or driving that car. If your reaction is nothing less than bursting with excitement and enthusiasm you can be sure you're on the right track.

Stop Foreclosure With A Reverse Mortgage

Reverse Mortgages are not short term, hard money, bridge or balloon loans normally associated with the type of loans people are forced to get to stop a foreclosure proceeding. But for seniors aged 62 and over, a reverse mortgage can be a life-line that rescues the seniors in danger of losing their homes to foreclosure. Many seniors are faced with rising living costs with which their fixed incomes do not keep pace.

Rising costs of everything from food and gasoline to new medical expenses and even the rising costs associated with some of the adjustable rate mortgage programs that some seniors found themselves taking (either by too little explanation on the part of the originator or because they felt they had no other choice to keep their payments as low as possible), leaves many seniors with impossible decisions to make. Do they make the mortgage payment, or purchase the food and medicine they need to live for that month? These decisions have placed many seniors in peril as they near or enter foreclosure on their homes.

Now for the good news! A reverse mortgage requires no income or credit qualification. What this means is that if you are behind in your payments, even if the lender has filed a notice of default, you may still get a new reverse mortgage loan and once you get it, you will never make another payment for life. You still have to meet the other reverse mortgage criteria, but if you do a reverse mortgage may be just the right thing for you or your loved ones to live payment free and worry free for life.

So what are the criteria to get a reverse mortgage? The youngest borrower has to be aged 62 or older for the HUD government-insured mortgage. Some programs even go down lower, but they also lend much less in relationship to the overall value of your home. Your property must meet minimum requirements as set forth by HUD and must be an acceptable property type. Single family residences, townhomes, modular homes on permanent foundations, condominiums are all generally acceptable but there may be additional requirements if you have anything other than a single family detached home so be sure to let your reverse mortgage lender know what type of property you have and if you are subject to a homeowner's association, if your zoning is not residential or if your property contains excess acreage. Your property has to be in reasonably wel maintained condition with no major repairs needed (some repairs can have funds set-aside to be completed).

The only real credit requirement is that borrowers cannot be in default on a federal obligation or a federally insured loan. This means that if you are in default on an SBA loan, an FHA insured mortgage or other federal obligation, you would not be eligible for a reverse mortgage. Therefore, if the current mortgage that is delinquent is an FHA loan but has not had a notice of default filed yet, you can still get a reverse mortgage. Once the notice of default has been filed, the borrower would need to be able to bring in funds to cure the default before the reverse mortgage could proceed. Those funds could come from a family member, etc. Once the reverse mortgage was completed and funded, the borrower would never have to make another mortgage payment for life!

The borrower(s) must go through counseling, the loan has to be processed including property appraisal, all title issues including trusts, conservatorships, etc must be reviewed and approved so a reverse mortgage loan is not a 4 or 5 day loan. You need to realize that if you are going to use a reverse mortgage to stop a foreclosure it's a long term solution that must be dealt with in a timely manner without a lot of extra time for delay. Contact a reverse mortgage specialist today if you or a loved one find yourselves in this situation to see if a reverse mortgage is the right solution for you.

What is a Therapist, And Why See One?

Living our fast paced lives can stress us out, and lead to emotional problems, some stemming from childhood. One of the best ways to deal with the past in order to move on is to see a qualified Therapist. But when people run into deep psychological and emotional problems, what options do they have to help themselves?

Very often therapists and counsellors are seen as a last resort instead of a natural part of health and wellbeing. There is a mistaken perception that people that seek therapy are not mentally stable, however most times the exact opposite is the case. Actually, this is a great fallacy.

In fact, many problems and emotional trauma actually worsen from a relatively mild state because people do not seek counselling help quickly. If action is taken early, a lot of emotional stress from difficulties in coping with various family and relationship problems can be alleviated.

Marriages and other close personal and primary relationships can very often be salvaged by seeing a good counsellor who can help identify the issues clearly and teach you strategies to cope. This naturally also includes problems such as stress, family relationships, partners, work related anxiety, and trauma from past unfortunate events.

Seeking help from a counselor can be the sanest decision you'll ever make. You are very likely not alone in your need to have a non-judgmental person you can talk to, who can give some good advice. This is where seeing a therapist can be the best way to get guidance, understanding, and perspective. If you see them in the light of a friend and open up your inner thoughts, you will be able to benefit immensely from the exchange.

Talking to a counsellor or therapist is not the same as chatting to a friend over coffee. These experts are able to understand your point of view and problems, yet maintaining their own objective perspective of your situation so they are able to provide good judgment on your case.

If you ever decide to speak to one, you will likely find the interaction to be a pleasant one, and it may just be what you've been lacking in your recent life: a good talk.

Having a session with a well qualified counsellor not only gives you a channel to express your problems, it also offers an opportunity to learn more about yourself. Understanding your own needs, wants and feelings is a preliminary step to solving any relationship problems.

A therapist will often use a range of techniques as applicable to help you discover the underlying causes of your feelings. Don't be worried about the general perspective of others towards your therapy sessions. If you take the step to see a therapist, you will be doing a great thing not only for yourself but for your family.

If you have been suffering from anxiety, or feeling mildly depressed for quite some time, it is appropriate to seek professional advice so that your condition does not become irreparable. Take action sooner rather than later, and you will find the experience of going to see a professional therapist extremely rewarding and enlightening.

NBC Nightly News - Reverse Mortgage Ripoff?

I just finished reading an article about a network news program that did a negative report on reverse mortgages, citing an incident in Los Angeles of a senior borrower who was talked into buying annuities that did not mature until the year 2033 without a substantial penalty. I saw the actual Nightly News piece with Tom Costello. I was very concerned with the piece because I saw that they interviewed a woman identified as Robin Talbert with the AARP.

I have to believe that only part of Ms. Talbert's comments were represented in the piece on the program as her comments stated "We're all living longer and you don't want to outlive that equity in your home to which the piece cut away immediately to Mr. Costello who added Because the bank could then take the home. Ms. Talbert is absolutely correct, and the AARP champions all things for seniors, but they are extremely aware of how reverse mortgages operate and Mr. Costello's remarks are done in a way to mischaracterize reverse mortgages.

This is the type of misinformation and misreporting that we have been running into for several years now. While I do not know all of the borrower's circumstances in this particular situation and I always get extremely angry when I hear of any mortgage professionals who do not keep the borrower's best interests at heart, it is not the Reverse Mortgage that is the rip off here, it was the end use of the funds.

The notion that the bank will take the borrower's home when her equity is gone is just plain wrong and bad reporting. The whole idea behind the reverse mortgage and one of the reasons the borrowers pay mortgage insurance is that no matter what happens to the equity, the borrower will never make another house payment and the borrower or the borrower's heirs will never owe more than the property is worth, regardless of what the equity position does. The loan is set up so that you own your property, not the bank.

If the Nightly News or Mr. Costello had researched reverse mortgages more thoroughly, they would have learned that if the borrower had chosen what is known as the tenure option or payments for life, she would have received those payments for the rest of her life so long as she continued to occupy the property and the bank would never then take the home when the senior outlived the equity as the report leads the listener to believe.

I think it is very important for seniors to not only go through the required counseling, but also to enlist the assistance of their loved ones or trusted financial advisors whenever available. In this piece, the borrower said she didn't really even need the money, she was doing just fine without it. Her daughter was with her during the television interview and maybe if she had been with her during the reverse mortgage process, she could have helped her to keep from getting the loan in the beginning. Another piece of advice, don't ever go into the process with someone who is only looking to sell you another product or service.

If you don't need a reverse mortgage and someone is trying to sell you one so that you can buy something else, or you do need one for living expenses and then someone tries to tell you that you should put the money into something else instead, find a reverse mortgage specialist who is only looking to help you fulfill your reverse mortgage needs. Many people have used reverse mortgages as retirement tools but make sure that your use of your funds is from your careful plan and decisions, not from someone elses salesmanship.

Reverse Mortgages can be a very viable retirement tool and I've seen them help many senior borrowers. Like almost anything, they can be abused but if you take the time to research the products and the people with whom you are working, the reverse mortgage can be the difference to many seniors of staying in their homes or having to leave; between barely surviving and aging in grace and dignity.

I would hate to see a senior borrower avoid this viable option that may be badly needed due to bad or partial reporting.

Prepositions Are Little Words With Big Impact

This is my personal plea as a writer in support of the little words in our language -- prepositions. Don't leave them out, please. They may be little words, but they have a big impact on our intelligent use of the English language, both spoken and written.

I just spent some time roaming around the Internet looking for discussions about prepositions, those little words in the English language (well, all languages use them in some form, really) that indicate relationships between words and phrases. I'll bet you know the words I mean: "at," "by," "of," "about," "from," "for," "with," etc.

Most native English speakers have few problems understanding prepositions and preposition usage. Native speakers of the language begin to understand from an early age how different words relate to each other, so they quickly learn to pick the correct preposition to indicate those word or phrase relationships. But I recently ran onto several forums for English as a Second Language (ESL) students. If you look around such forums, you may be amazed at how difficult it is for non-native speakers of English to get preposition usage right.

But, really, how much does it matter whether you're off just a little on the correct preposition. They're "little" words, mostly, so how much difference can the right or wrong preposition make? Let me give you a simple exercise to illustrate how important it can be to use the correct preposition in a phrase. Take the phrase "land for sale Branson" as an example. (I live near Branson, Missouri, that country music mecca which now vies with Nashville, Tennessee, as the cultural universe of country music. I recently saw this phrase used exactly as quoted in an online ad about Branson.)

As you can see, some preposition is needed between "sale" and "Branson." Think about what prepositions might be used in the phrase. What would you use, and how much difference would your choice make to the meaning of the ad? Let's look at some examples of how using different prepositions would change the ad:

"Land for sale IN Branson" -- Clearly, the land being sold is located in the city of Branson if you use this preposition.

"Land for sale BY Branson" -- Maybe the land is in Branson; maybe it's not. It appears to be owned by the city of Branson and the city wants to sell it. Or -- does the "by" mean "along side, beside, near" Branson and refer simply to the location of the land?

"Land for sale FROM Branson" -- This preposition is really ambiguous, isn't it? Does this mean the land is owned by someone who lives in Branson and wants to sell it, but the land itself is nowhere near Branson? It might.

The lesson we learn from the Branson ad appears to be clear: Be careful to use prepositions when you need them, and please be careful to use the correct preposition when you use one. Oh, and if you're wondering, I never clicked on that ad so I have no idea which preposition usage is correct regarding that Branson land sale.

As for any ESL students out there reading this -- good luck, my friends. English can be a tricky and mysterious language to learn. Even the seemingly little words like prepositions can have a big impact on meaning. But I'm sure you're learning that, aren't you?

How TVI Express Can Pay So Well

There are so many questions floating around the Internet on whether or not TVI Express is another Ponzi scheme or Pyramid MLM.

Most of these are uneducated people making crazy uneducated acquisitions. Besides the massive amount of large multi-national companies providing the travel benefits and clearly being labeled as sponsors on their site (Warren Buffet and Sir Richard Branson also appear there), if these people and companies were not affiliated with TVI Express then in a 10 month period I'm sure this would have been stopped (its not like they couldn't afford to stop it)

On top of all this they offer great discounts on their Travel site. A friend used it to go to Southern California for the U2 concert and saved loads of money, so much so the Check-in staff asked how he got such great rates!. If that isn't value then what is?

People will always hit on any MLM company because the failure rate is so high (often the people writing them have failed at it before), just take a look around the web. Enter any name of any network marketing company and you will find them labelled as scams, ponzi's and pyramids!

The truth is. It doesn't really matter what the product is to succeed in network marketing. If you can market it effectively and find a good team of people to work with who spend their time helping and coaching you then you can achieve Amazing results.

You Can Have The Most Ground-Breaking Product
In The World, But If You're Not Using Effective
Marketing, No One Will Know And No One Will Care.

TVI Express is still around and growing after 10 months. Not many New businesses in this Industry can say that. With a monthly global revenue that has risen to over 10 Million dollars it looks like its going to be here for a while. I do predict a rise in membership fee next year in 2010 though. But for now those who work this business correctly and ethically with the right training will do very well.

Here's a simple explanation of how the boards work.

When someone pays their $250 they take one of 8 positions on the bottom row of the first board. When that row fills up (8 people) the board splits and our person moves up to the row of 4 on a new board.

When the bottom row of that board fills up, the board splits again and they move up to the row of 2 of a new board. When the bottom row fills up again, the board spits again and they move up to the top spot. When the bottom fills up again, the board spits again and they cycle to the express board and are paid $500 ($250 in cash and $250 in travel voucher).

So let's do that math. For one person to move all the way through the first board to the $500 payout, 32 people have come into the company. 32 x $250 = $8000. So for one person to cycle all the way through to the $500 payout the company has brought in $8000. Once on the express board, the same process starts all over again. The company earns another $8000 and pays out $10,000.

So for each of those $10K payouts, the company has brought in $16K. All one has to do is to qualify for the $10K is to have brought in two personally sponsored people. That's 2 of the 64 required to move them through to the payout. The rest come from their team and other teams filling out the boards.

There you have it. With members cycling through every day, some as often as 5 or 6 times a month TVI Express is making a great return while paying its associates a great Income. Not only this but, TVI express pays its associates to travel, you get $5000 every time you cycle to spend on your very own travel website like Orbitz or Travelocity. Where will you take your first trip? I'm thinking the south of France.

How to Give a Female a Sexual Orgasm

If you want to learn how to give a female an orgasm, first you should get to know what really arouses her. Though it is a fact that the whole body is in some way or the other involved in the female orgasm, the key sexual receptor is always the clitoris. Without involving the clit directly or indirectly, female orgasm cannot be achieved.

The Arousing Stimulation

Men find it very difficult to understand how a tiny organ such as the clitoris holds the key to the female orgasm. It is inconceivable for most men how a miniscule organ which is almost exteriorly placed is more sensitive than even the vagina. However, if you understand and accept this, you can easily find the answer on how to give a female an orgasm.

You may believe that stimulation by the penis over the internal lining of the vagina is the key to giving a female her orgasm. This is also true, but if you couple the vaginal stimulation with the clitoral stimulation, you could give the woman an assured orgasmic delight.

However, for women, orgasm is not achieved merely by tactile stimulation. Even emotional elements come into action. It is crucially important that the woman makes an emotional connection with the man she is having sex with.

In order to learn how to give a female an orgasm, her sexual partner must know and stimulate all her sensitive parts. Organs such as breasts, armpits, neck, lips, collar bones, thighs and umbilicus share equal importance during sexual stimulation leading from the foreplay till the peak.

There is lot to understand for men about how to give a female an orgasm. This is because the way women get sexually satisfied differs from one woman to another.

Sex Positions:

Some women prefer their sexual partner to have a rear entry, whereas, others prefer the female superior (woman on top) position. In this way, they find liberty and enough space to move as per their comfort.

Also, while in the female superior position, it is said that a man can hold his own orgasm for a longer duration as compared to the position wherein the man is on the top of female. Some say that it is because of gravitational force. When a man is on top, the gravity pulls down his semen and he ejaculates sooner. In female top position, it is retained up to certain extent.

If a man has the condition of premature ejaculation and wants to learn how to give a female an orgasm, allowing the woman to be on top could be a solution. Again, in any case, the female orgasm is brought when the clitoris is stimulated in one way or the other. This can be achieved in two ways, directly and indirectly.

In the indirect method the man's pubic bone pushes up and rubs against the clitoris when he is giving gentle strokes inserting his penis into the vaginal canal. Many men prefer rubbing their penises against the vulva. This works because the vulva is close to the clitoris. This leads to indirect stimulation of the clitoris. In the direct method, the clitoris is stimulated using the finger or, if the man prefers, using his tongue.
