Legendary finger style guitarist Merle "The Ronnie Prophet Show" January 29 TRAVIS performed, 1978 Merle was ill all week while in Toronto, Canada. During the afternoon rehearsals for the show, Merle almost canceled, but decided last minute to make 2 different "Ronnie Prophet" shows. It was not 100% but still gave a great performance! He played four instrumental solo and then a duet with Ronnie. Ronnie Prophet was on national television for over fifteen years. His series "GRANDOld Country "and" The Ronnie Prophet Show "nationally in Canada, Britain and Australia have seen every week with some of the best American and Canadian country music artists. Ronnie also owned and played at "Ronnie Prophet's Carousel Club in Printer's Alley Nashville, where he often had many of the stars who were in his TV show and come jam with him late nites in Nashville. His office on Music Row in Nashville was across the street from his best friend and mentor Chet Atkins.
